The Funds ThermometerA couple of you asked about a thermometer for funds raised to reach our goal to have a concert! Well here you go!
This thermometer represents sales that will directly fund the concert that we are planning! If you purchase either a ticket (pledge) or a T-Shirt or both, that will increase the level of the mercury! Oh right now I have to manually updated the image, so you will not actually see the change until sometime around 10PM each night. Just so you know, we are shooting for a mid November concert - that means you'll need to start buying now! Save Project 961
You already know all about this I am sure, but something you may not know already is that we are working on a Save Project 961 Concert!!! That's right, we are so excited about our Rock that we are pulling out all the stops with an all out effort to let Clear Channel know that we will have our voices heard!

We have all come to love the institution that began for many of us as 96 Rock and later became known as
Project 9-6-1. Either way this station is the only one who played the music that we wanted hear! If you are old enough to remember it, you knew that no matter who's car you got into, 96.1 was preset #3!!! (Mine was 1,2 and 3) but nonetheless you knew where to find your favorite music. Clear Channel and their ilk have seen fit to take that away from Atlanta demolishing a life long tradition of Rock in the south.
Well, we are here to at most change all of that but at least, give 'em a proper send off.
